What is the Malay Language Month?
The Malay Langauge Month aims to:
* to instill passion and interest in the Malay community in mastering the Malay language, using it correctly and proud to be able to do so
* to bring activities in Singapore that promote the use and mastery of the Malay language together under one umbrella so that it becomes a community event and an important national initiative.
Slogan: Our Language. Our Heritage and Future. Use it.
The slogan encourages users of the Malay language to further incorporate the use of the Malay language into our daily lives. Initiatives of this nature seek to strengthen and enhance one’s capabilities and confidence in using the Malay language.

The Malay Language is both our national language and one of the official languages of Singapore. Users of the Malay language from every generation are heirs and ambassadors of the language by ensuring its continuity through its usage. Our language bridges our rich past and the promising future of our community.
Use it for the Future Generation.
Language needs to be put into practice. By using the Malay language at every opportunity we have, in various contexts both formal and casual, we are able to increase our eloquence and mastery in using our language.
